Get Wild SMS opt-in

Get Wild is a two-way conversational AI assistant for the backcountry that you reach by satellite text. You start every conversation — when you text a question to your Get Wild number (weather, trip planning, gear, wilderness skills, local knowledge), we send back an AI-generated reply. Every message we send is a direct reply to a message you send us. Get Wild does not send marketing, promotional, or recurring campaign messages, and signing up for SMS is never required to create or use a Get Wild account.

How opt-in works

You opt in by texting your Get Wild number — sending us a message is your consent to receive a reply. To set your number up, enter it below and we'll send a single 6-digit verification code; replying with that code confirms the number is yours. After that, you're in control: you'll only hear from Get Wild when you text it first.

Mobile number

We do not sell or share your mobile number or opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your number is used only to operate the Get Wild messaging service.

Thanks — if your number is eligible, a 6-digit verification code is on its way by text. Reply to the message with that code to finish opting in. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

What you'll receive

A verification code when you opt in here.
AI replies to questions you text — Get Wild is reply-only. We do not send marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages, and we never message you unless you message us first (aside from the one-time verification code and keyword responses below).

Keywords

STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) — opt out. You'll get one confirmation: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."
START — opt back in after a STOP.
HELP (or INFO) — get help: "Get Wild: reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data rates may apply. Help: hello@getwild.ai".

Message frequency & cost

You control how often you hear from us: Get Wild only messages you in reply to a message you send, so frequency depends entirely on how often you text it. Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier's plan. Get Wild does not charge for the texts themselves; the free plan includes up to 50 messages per account per calendar month.

Not for emergencies. Get Wild is not an emergency service and must not be relied on in an emergency. If your life, health, or safety is at risk, use the SOS function on your satellite device or contact emergency services by any available means.

Privacy

Your mobile number and the contents of your messages are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
